Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This privacy policy explains how Tacorari and its tools
(including Your Situation) collect, use, and protect your data.
Usage data.
When you use Your Situation, a random anonymous user ID is generated and stored
in your browser's local storage. This ID is used solely to track your
reading credits. It is not linked to your name or identity.
IP address.
Your IP address is temporarily used for rate limiting (to enforce the
daily free reading limit). It is stored with a key that
expires at midnight UTC each day. We do not use IP addresses for tracking
or profiling.
Input text.
The text you submit for a reading is sent to Google's Gemini API for
processing. We do not store your input text on our servers. Google's
data handling is governed by their
Gemini API Terms of Service.
Payment data.
If you purchase readings, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not
store your credit card details. Stripe may collect your email address,
payment method, and billing information. See
Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Contact form.
If you send us a message through the contact form, your name, email address,
and message are sent to us via email. We use this data only to respond to
your inquiry.
Tacorari does not use cookies. Your Situation uses browser local storage to save
your anonymous user ID and paid credit count. This data stays in your
browser and is not transmitted to third parties.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and restrict
the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability.
Since we store minimal data (an anonymous user ID and a temporarily stored IP address),
most of these rights are fulfilled by design. To exercise your rights or ask

7. Data Retention
Free usage counters (IP-based) expire daily at midnight UTC.
Paid credit balances are retained until used.
We do not retain your reading input text.
